The Island of Sangalaki is located off the East coast of the Indonesian portion of Borneo. The Sangalaki Dive Lodge resort is secluded, the diving is spectacular, filled with exotic marine life that you've probably only seen in National Geographic programmes.

If Sangalaki Island claims to be the manta ray capital of the world, few other dive destinations would be able challenge that claim. Imagine have manta rays gliding towards you from all directions. You will easily lose track of time while staring at them. Photography can be difficult during this time because there are too many manta rays to shoot and you are not sure which one or group to focus on! Such, is the dilemma you face in Sangalaki.

If the mantas are not enough to wow you, you can also see the sea turtles at night.

Sangalaki Dive Lodge is located in the Sangalaki Islands, a secluded island with amazing biodiversity. Sangalaki Dive Lodge is not intended to be a busy resort, instead it is designed to give personal touch to every service offered to the guests.

Aside from diving operation, Sangalaki is also a place for turtle and other marine conservation. Unlike other Island resorts in the area, Sangalaki has its emphasis on Conservation & Ecology; less that 3% of the Island is built upon, leaving the Tropical Rainforest to its’ natural inhabitants and visiting guests.
